Where USPS priority mail is still very appealing to me is cross-country deliveries (your HI case is even more impressive). A package can get from CA to MA in two or three business days for a reasonable price, compared to higher prices and five business days (which means a calendar week) with UPS.

SO finally figured out what happened. I never received that phone call from the post office, but it did finally show that it had arrived in San Diego. Mail lady finally comes with a package for me, AWESOME. Come back inside....it's priority mail.....this was a different package i was expecting. Run back to ask her if she had an express mail package for me.......Nothing. I showed her the tracking on my phone and she was just as confused as i was. She called up the office, and they had nothing there, so we exchanged numbers, and she said she would get back to me if she found anything out.

Turns out it was going to a different address >.< Thankfully she was able to get to the other postal worker and snag the package before it was dropped off, and she had brought it back to me. Sweetest and best mail lady ever. USPS is still #1 for me, i've had way too many problems with other carriers, and this was probably the first time with USPS, although more of a hiccup than a problem since it was coming to the general vicinity and a day late. None the less, it's here. Thanks again everyone for the nice words.

And so i finally got my lovely knife. Some silver etching was left off due to the size, and there was a cabochon mix up, so i'm debating to have to send it back in, or be content and be inspired for a large that would correct those 2 little things. I can't say enough for CRK's customer service and that they take custom orders such as this. Such a great company, and spectacular knives. Thanks Jessie and Heather for putting up with my emails and phone calls :p And thank you Chris Reeve for letting me be able to have this personalized design done on such a wonderful knife. I'll update with newer pics when i come back from Korea if i have it sent in.

There is also a damascus blade on order for this, so that'll be coming much much later down the line, but i wasn't going to wait for that as well, but i'm debating if i should just order a large of a similar design with the damascus. Two knives or swapped blades, always with decisions :p

thanks :D i was intially going to try and do a design almost identical to my tattoo with anodizing(was inspired by Fooj and his Nozomi Sebenza), but i'm not the best of artist and trying to have it work with the frame at a reasonable price would have been crazy :p plus, i do really like the duality of the grey and silver

I like the black cabochon, it pops and looks great with the black lanyard. Your design is so busy it's not busy at all:thumbup: An amazing knife.

has nothing to do with lost :p I've only seen a few episodes so I'm not sure where they're taking the design from and what purpose. my setup is for bagua zhang. their placement of the trigrams is a bit odd, as I've never seen it that way.

i can't wait for the damascus to come(sooner than later hopefully!, but the insingo that's sitting inside now is not be underappreciated, loving this blade shape
