Kaleb,
If you need some compression rivets, just give me a holler. I have a bunch.

that is awesome!!! didnt think u could get a peach seed to work well, i had toyed with the idea of a "real" peach seed handle before, but dang, it takes talent to actually pull it off!!! tell ya what, u s carolina and georgia boys would buy the heck out of peach seed handled knives. great work overall, i love it!!

A note to Fireman, and for all you others who don't know Muskratman: Kaleb is sixteen years old, homeschooled, and quite talented as you have seen. I only recently found out how he managed to pull off so many cutler tricks, and became so knowledgable in knife making in such a short time. His father, you see, is a semi-retired bladesmith! So Muskratman has some good guidence in selection of tools, instruction on how to properly use them, and a natural creativity that you see the results of here. Besides that, he's just plain good people!

16??? man, this guy has great potential!!! jeez, i am 26 yrs old, and he has more talent in the knife buisness than i could ever hope to have! he does very beautiful work, and i have to agree with u codger, he seems to be a great person to top it off. they say the japenese poured their heart and soul into the making of samurai swords, well, i betcha muskratman puts alot into his too. i find it amazing that he can do what he does. he has a great future ahead of him for sure. i would also like to personally thank him for sharing his work with us. i am honored to be able to see these great works he is doing. i find it amazing what he does, and i have to admit, i am jealous!!!:grumpy: i just wish i was that dang good!! keep up the good work Kaleb, i really do enjoy what u do, and i do thank u for sharing with us all.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. School just started back up for me, and they are piling the work on me now, looks like the shop work will slow down quite a bit. My father is indeed a retired knifemaker, he did fixed blades, never did anything with folders. His real pleasure was making bowie style knives, he guides me as best he can, and I venture out alone on alot of projects, kinda learn from my mistakes I suppose. I'll get back with ya on the projects you emailed me about codger, I may have to turn them down, if school dosen't let up. First day, yet they still have no mercy :O.
Take Care
Kaleb
P.S I suppose I'll take this moment to show you a few knives I have done, incase you haven;t seen them before.
