940-1 Osborne: yay or nay?

I keep looking at the 940 and its various incarnations. It looks like a nice knife, but I just can't buy it because its price seems way out of line relative to other offerings out there (both Benchmade and others). Tough for me to justify $268 for a BM 940 w/ S90v vs $182 for a Spyderco Manix 2 w/ Maxamet or $165 for a PM2 w/ S110V. Granted, these knives have different profiles, weights, etc. but you get my drift. (You can tell I'm a little bit of a steel guy.) I'll probably pick up a Griptillian in 20CV, but that's as much as I'm willing to pay for a Benchmade in that steel absent some really compelling design features.

940-1s pop up on the Exchange fairly often for $180-$200 in barely used condition. That's a price at which I think the 940-1 really shines.
