MIke, Nice apology but, this was not a delay is shipping.. And it is not in the past tense.....It is STILL not shipped, Mike is still not saying where my knife is and here is the story:
Last Friday I was asked (on the trade forum) to trade my mini-commander for a spyderco military. The other guy as 100 % positive feedback over 15 deals and is in the service.
We agree to ship on Saturday past.. I ship USPS insured on sat morning, other party says he ships (I have the email)and sends me a pic of the box and tracking number.

My knife arrives at his place Monday esterday as tracking info was available throughout the trip.
Problem is, his tracking is below ..... and has stayed that way since Saturday.

Hey bud im on my way to pittsburg and my nieghbor siad he sign for the package and he siad it dawned on him he didnt mail the military and siad he dropped it off should see some tracking by tuesday

Im sorry paul , trust me im not trying to stick you its on the way and ive icluded a arkansas stone in the box as a surprise but my neighbor screwed that up , if you dont see any tracking by tuesday my number is 121631*&*& its a cleveland ohio number but my cell phone and with me , i was trying to be quick about shipping but always traveling is a pain when dealing with mail . I check on usps again today and no other info…I call him and get no return call text him and tell him I am not happy about how the story has been changing…I get this text:
+121631*&*&: I drove back to charlotte to pick up the package and make this right on my way back to pittsburg im in west virgina now im thought it be faster to post it in pittsburg , . Should have it a few days
So he allegedly retrieves a "mailed" package and wants to now mail it from a different location...
Story keeps changing. truth be told, I was gonna wait until Friday to come here.... I would like to know when my knife will be shipped and from where?

Well, the tracking number shown in the email still hasn't moved or been accepted. Not good. I don't get it, why trust your neighbor to do something for you that is your own personal obligation? Everyone is busy, most have jobs and family, a few have other hobbies, but theree is no real excuse for this. Very unimpressive transaction and conduct thus far.

The problem is not your neighbor. The problem is you said you shipped something (several times) without doing it. You continued to misrepresent for several days now. All you had to do was tell me shipping would be delayed and I would have dealt with it.
If you shipped it at 3am this morning, why did you not say that in your 8am post this morning?

In addition the tracking also mentions Warrendale PA....182 miles away from warrendale? In light of how this deal went... just a bit gun-shy

I'm not entirely qualified to chime in on this situation, nor do I know the entire situation from both parties, but with the provided emails and texts pwerfel provided, I too agree that msass74 is just giving pwerfel the runaround. The excuses, whether true or not, are poor and not well though out.

From what I've read, you do care a great deal about your reputation and standing in this forum. I would advise you think out your next response, and try to be more coherent. Don't give any more excuses and don't set the blame on someone or something else. Just acknowledge that you're at fault, step up the communication, and try to be more transparent rather than leaving other bf members, including me, speculating on what actually happened.
It seems as if you made this thread with the intention to alleviate any worries pwerfel may have had. Even if it did, with each response that you have posted so far, you do more and more damage to your reputation. If you truly want to make good on this situation, I would advise you to heed my previously stated suggestion and work promptly to solve this issue.
