941 Blade Coating

Who can tell me what the coating on the 941 blade is? I really like it and wonder why I don’t see it on anything else.

Those blades only came on a few limited edition models in the early 2000's.

There were a few other models that had that coating as well. I think there were only 3 different 941 versions...941BC1BL (blue handle), 941BC1RED (red handle), & 941BC1G (gray handle). Some of the others I can think of are 690BC1, 690BC1CF, 450, 771BC1, 771BC1-01. And I think there was an Ares model that had it and a 705 forum knife too. There's probably a few others that I'm forgetting.
