Buck did make a custom sheath for the 118

Elegant sheath. Looks new. Easier to grab knife vs the fold over flap version.

I'm pretty sure I need one of those. I don't suppose someone has one just laying around unwanted.

Engineering and building a custom sheath like that terrific one will, however, stretch my existing oragami skills a bit......

Thank you for the kind words BG.

I'm already coniving toward the next challenge: Hold knife to window, allow shadow to form on desk, take pic of shadow and dog pile the gracious, generous and knowledgeable members!!!!!

And I thought that the lines were colored blue. Teal, huh, hmmmmm. OK. Okay. Teal it is. THX

Larry, I've seen one or two of those over time at different places. They are stiff, heavy well made sheaths. Oregon, if you come across one better snag it up because they are hard to find. DM

LOL, really. THX. I needed that.

Actually I'm looking for carry options.

I'd tear it off the pad, fold it in fours and carry it in my left back jeans pocket.

oops, just read the rest of the posts and see jb has already made the suggestion-sorry.

Great minds think alike.

Actually, that knife was just used: wadded it up and dried my eyes with it when I discovered that I didn't win the large golden fish toothpick 0386BNSSM-B. Next time.

I'm keeping an eagle eye open for the next cutlery game of chance:

Funny to me. This Bald Eagle is sitting in a large old Oak tree but it appears to my eye that the bird is the one with the hard bark.
