I finally joined the club. I just wanted to say, even though small, I'm really glad I did. I've always loved the 940, but the blade has always been just a little too long for fine work needing the tip of the blade. I really like the thinner, shorter blade of the 945. Really great, small package that is comfortable in the hand.

940 was my second Benchmade purchase back in roughly 2006? after acquiring my first BM which was the D2 Bone Collector grip that I use every year hunting. I have carried it almost everyday since. Just recently had both omega springs break. Or at least the second one broke. Who knows how long the first was broken. Going to try the Amazon replacements before sending it in. Has been one of my all time favorite blades I've ever owned. But this 945 is a sweet little slicer. I was skeptical, but glad I pulled the trigger on Black Friday. I have very large hands, but this fits so well.

Agree, 945 is an excellent edc.
