Opsss, just considered - it's later than Mil'97 model, sorry
Serg, is the handgun legal in Poland or do you have a license?
Here in Sweden it is very hard to get one. You have to be member of a pistol club and pass a test several times a year. Also, guns and ammo is several times more expensive here than in the US.
Paul,
Yes, this gun is legal in Poland. This is Canadian Para-Ordnance P9-18 Limited Edition in 9 mm Parabellum. Bigger bores like 0.40 S&W, 10 mm Auto or 0.45 Auto recently become illegal for self-defense purposes but still are legal for sport shooting (IPSC for ex.). This is silly limitation and this proves extremely low knowledge level of people who prepared new gun law but this is our reality
It is very difficult (close to impossible if you cant or dont want to bribe police clerks) to get concealed carry license for self-defense. It is a bit easier to have the gun for sporting, without CC permission but this is pretty expensive.
Yes, I have CC permission due to my main occupation in recent decade or so I have been commercial body- and security guard. Now, for last two years, Im full time writer and journalist but my CC license is still valid and my Glock 19 stays in my home safe, loaded and chambered.
Sorry for slight off-topic. Ill try to find some Military photos more or to make new ones to post here.
