9mm suggestions

What do you gentlemen think of the Walther line of pistols for reliability, overall mechanical function and accuracy? Thanks.

Well, there's Walthers, and there's Walthers. Don't mean to be ornery, but on at least one model (TPH .22) the Interarms (American) model seems to have had quite a lot of reliability problems, and there have been quite a few different Walthers made over the years.

Are you asking about brand new Walthers, or...? The new Walther/S&W pistols seem to be pretty well received.

My P22 works very well. No problems so far, and decent accuracy. I have smallish hands, and I love the grip shape. Don't care much for the plastic sights, however. It looks mean enough to be a 9mm

I've got a Pre-war PPK. Excellent quality and very reliable. New ones? Dunno.

Brian

Sorry for the vague question. I guess I'm wondering whether...

1) Is there any better .380 than the Walther PPK?
2) How do you gentlemen feel about the Walther P99?
3) Any differences betweeen the Walther P99 and the licensed USA version, the Smith&Wesson SW99?

'Kinda like the way the pistol sits in my hand :)
