Looks like an awesome getaway! And you were able to give some of your blades a workout despite the weather. Pity about the Fiskars, I have heard mixed reports regarding those, they are an interesting topic amongst axe junkies. Almost as if everyone secretly (sometimes happily) owns one yet is ashamed to admit it. I own one of the really small Gerber hatchets and though its size makes its next to useless, it is exceptionally sharp and it cuts very well.

In any case, Happy Anniversary to you and yours. Congrats on 9 years!

Thanks man. Always fun using the blades. I have a Gerber, and never had it do that bad, although I must say, all the wife chopped was hard, dead stuff. If it were green, I don't believe it would have looked that bad.
