Hey guys. Up for sale is my Bulgarian Makarov. These aren't expensive guns, but a lot of them are in crap condition. This one is gorgeous. I bought it from a dude that was never shooting it... cleaned it up, and she shot like she never went out of service.
Mags for this gun are pretty hard to come by, but I was able to track down a second magazine. Even with their rarity, 9x18 bullets are pretty easy to come by, and usually the same exact price or cheaper than 9mm. And at the gun shops I go to, hollow points are the same price as ball ammo.
Just so you get the idea of the caliber..
.380 = 9x17
Makarov = 9x18
9mm = 9x19
So it's right between 9mm and .380 in size.
A bunch of countries manufactured these guns; Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Chek-o-slow-vakia (you get the picture).. Bulgarian models are clearly known to be the best quality and most reliable. Very solid construction, I mean, if you ran out of bullets, you could beat somebody with this thing.
As far as I know, these guns aren't being imported anymore. So the ones that are here, are what ya got. And with them (especially good condition ones) becoming more rare, the prices have been going up.

- I'll also include the 9x18 ammo I have for this gun if the FFL lets me send it with the gun.. don't know the rules on that, but I think I have 2 partial boxes..
