. . . .Of course it's only for a sharpening!

It's a sweet looking blade. . . .It's gonna hurt to send this one back!!! ;) Makes me glad to see this customer still using it after so many years !!!

That's really nice. I don't think I've ever seen one of those before. Interesting how styles recycle themselves, like the enlarged finger choil. That was absent from Busse knives for a while, and now it's back on some models....20 years later!

Yes, beautiful knife. Swamprat all the way? The scales remind me of the new Swamprat handles on the D2 models, and the choil/front guard reminds me of the larger Swamprats (BR and CT), the blade itself looks like a Taliwhacker on steroids ... hm. I like it a lot. Now if the price for that beauty would be of a "Swamprat-design" as well :D ...

Best regards

She's a beaut :D I noticed the blade said G.P. Busse. What does the G.P. stand for? What kind of steel is it made from? I wonder what that would look like with the new magnum fusion handles...... ;)

im pretty sure that knife would get the tactical handles, its not wide enough, or large enought for the fusion handles, and would look really weird with the special forces handle...

bueatiful design... it wouldnt surprise me if G.P. Busse was jerry's initials...

what steel is it made from?

G.P. are my initials and it's made from D-2. . . . I know, what was I thinking?!!!!!!!. . . . Live and learn. . . . I love D-2 for smaller blades designed for cutting chores only. . . but a fighter or camp knife????    . . . Oh yeah, I used to drink a lot back then. . . . . :D

   LOL! Back then??? ;) ;) :D

But seriously, I think I just found the starting design for my $75.00 Busse Custom Shop credit. Jerry - let's discuss it down at Blade. Do you have any specs you could share?

THX,
~Drew

I thought the G.P. came from his teen days of goin into a carry out and asking "Got Pulltabs?" ;) :p
