Man, It took 10min. to download all of Skunk's pictures! I wish only a small portion of my Busse collection took that long!!! Nice Pictures guys.

Hmm, should have known better than to revisit this thread! :grumpy: Think something suffered some kind of overload in my brain.....just sitting here quietly drooling! :D

Gertrude Penelope? Sorry Jerry, I couldn't resist. :D
Perhaps it is a first name more exotic than Gerald? Maybe a name like Gennaro P. Busse or something like that? Could make for a good contest.

g p busse..... mmmmmmmm????

gumbo pilsner busse, your parents had a good sense of humor the day you were named :)

I had a tanto exactly like that one that I bought when I was a boy around 1984 or so!I wish I still had it.Mine had a skeleton handle and an 8 inch blade and was stamped exactly the same as that one.I can barely remember it but I remember Jerry selling it to me cheaper than the marked price because I was so young and bug eyed over his knives.I think I paid around $100 for it then.I messed up gettin rid of it,but oh well you live and learn.

Yep! That's the same model that you had only with the micarta handles. Sweet blade!

Nuke on!

I just fell outta my chair from laughing so frigging hard at Jerry's 'back then' post, and INFIdahoskunk's 'I wouldn't' post...and then the 'eleventeen' really cool Busse's he subsequently posted! :D

Rock on guys, you're the best!

Yes, beautiful knife. Swamprat all the way? The scales remind me of the new Swamprat handles on the D2 models, and the choil/front guard reminds me of the larger Swamprats (BR and CT), the blade itself looks like a Taliwhacker on steroids ... hm. I like it a lot. Now if the price for that beauty would be of a "Swamprat-design" as well :D ...

Best regards

It does look like a Swamp Rat!!! Those rotten bastids!!!!! They steal everything!!!!

I used to call that a "Trigger Guard". . . ..

Flugin' Rats!!!!

Very Nice knife indeed.! It is really cool that the knife is actually in use. I always like it when Jerry posts pics of older models that are sent in for refurb etc.

Tubed, so I'm assuming INFI.

I'd say it is a BM variant.

Never seen another like it.
