• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Great pics!

Watching an owl is a real treat. Nothing beats seeing one in the woods and its head rotating all the way around as it watches you walk past.

I have been fascinated with them since I was a kid - my grandmother really liked them and had a large one "stuffed". Apparently it had flown in front of my grandfather and grandmother's car and been killed. So they took it to an uncle who was a taxidermist and he did a fantastic mount.

Owls are real cool birds eh, great pics and a happy ending !!!!;)

I'm glad to see your back on the forum bro, I was starting to get a little worried for ya !

That is a Great act you did ,most people I have seen never hit there brakes much less stop, I too would of done the same...Excellent job Eric.....

My neighbor called one day and asked for help, she thought there was something in the chimney. I was ready to do battle with an angry racoon but it was a merganser [they sometimes nest in trees like a wood duck] . Totally black with soot , the merganser immediately flew across the river when I took it outside, none the worst for wear !

Fantastic rescue Eric!!!! Good job. Welders gloves are king for raptors!

Thanks for the pics. My kids loved them... and they've been searching all winter to catch a glimpse of one - no luck. Now they have.

Thanks Eric!
