Hello once again Folks, I have here a very traditional style 3/4 Loveless DP and a not so traditional Bird and Trout / EDC. I wanted to give you something different to look at while trying to be a little creative. Hope you like them. Of course comments are always welcome.
3/4 loveless style Drop Point. Or there abouts. Both blades are 10 in. hollow grind.
Blade is CPM 154 .142 thick and 2.925 tip to guard. O/A is 7.125. Heat treated with cryo quench and double tempered 2 hrs ea. I polish then hand finish with 2000 grit. Tang is tapered and hollow ground leaving flat only about .125 around the edge.
Guard is 416 stainless very carefully silver soldered. Fillet is very even and without pin holes. I use the SR Johnson process for boiling off any left over flux with baking soda and Dawn.
Handle is ivory micarta with see through mosaic pins, .014 G10 liners and lanyard hole.
Sheath is hand tooled and hand stitched 8-9 ounce leather. I use sole leather for the Loveless cam idea so the knife fits nice and snug yet is easy to withdraw.
Asking $365.00 Reduced to (sold) shipped in the USA Paypal is warrencustomknives@yahoo.com
#2 is CPM 154 .105 thick and 3.2 tip to bolsters. Heat treated with cryo quench and double tempered. Polished and finished with 2000 grit.
Bolsters are 416 stainless held tight with .093 pins.
Handle is dyed and stabilized Box elder with see through mosaic pins blue liners and lanyard hole.
Sheath is also hand tooled and hand stitched 8-9 ounce leather with concho and hand made beads of the handle material.
Asking (sold) shipped in the USA Paypal is warrencustomknives@yahoo.com
Thank you all for having a look. Alan
