How long is the blade on that thing Dan.....I love it!

Don
the one pictured is one I made in 2000 the blade was I believe about 12" but you know the old memory,, I have it written down somewhere..

Thanks guys :D

Dan, Its a sweet bowie and apparently does the job. Knives were made to save our lives and its refreshing to hear and see one that did. We as makers tend to baby our knives and not test them to their fullest potential. It says volumes about the quality if we take them camping and forget they cost so much just use the hell out of them and see how they really hold up. I resharpen for free for anybody that has one of my knives and like to hear from them how it holds up. I can tell after inspecting them what I can do to make the next ones better.

BTW what kind of steel does your Indiana Jones Bowie have?

Good looking blade Dan, sure sounds like you've got a satisfied customer.

I agree, you should frame the letter.

thanks again guys :D

Bruce it was from O1 and thanks :) ..
I know what you mean
A few years ago, (probably more than a few now )
I made 10 knives for all my hunting buddies and not a one of them will use them  they put them up to save... just one of them one day wore
his hunting he got his deer that day and used his pocket knife on it..
he didn't want to get it dirty
I never saw him wear it again.. I tell all my customers to use them ,,
some do, but not as many as I'd like. :(

:)
