Some repairs were down to it. They look old and I just left them there, the balde is in good condition.

Very nice yatagan, especially if those are grips are ivory(?). The sheath looks a little odd (and young) is it a replacement?

No the pics do not show, actually the scabbard fittings are corroding and I had to wax them heavily, the wood is also thin and rotten in some parts, so the scabbard is 100 percent original.

The grip is lovely, it is walrus.
