a banned FBM ..... whats it worth?

i sadly have to sell this banned fbm ..... i have no idea what it would be worth.... can anyone give me a clue.....]

This looks like an buy offer fishing expedition to me. The pix only add to the argument, along with your post highlighted above. We all know what a Banned CGFBM looks like. This is not some hardly seen or sold rare old Busse knife, and you are not new to the Forum.

C'mon, you must be kidding... You know how to sell... You're in the business of selling ART, fer cryin' out loud. How do you arrive at a price for your pieces??? You've listed & sold knives here before. You know the rules here... This thread seems, to me, a shameless way to skirt the Exchange rules and hope for offers without having to buy a gold membership to list the knife.

Sounds like you are trying to get offers here. Should this not be in a For Sale Ad if you want to sell it?

Get a Gold membership, list the knife, roll the dice... Just like the rest of us have to do in order to follow the rules of BladeForums.

U_J's post here has me re-thinking the value... Beautiful job done by Ban for sure, BUT... If the previous, and also the current owner beat the blade as a Busse is used to taking and then it is modded in such a fashion as to remove the corrugated bevels, i.e. some of the support strength, this blade may or may not still be covered under the Busse warranty. Jerry's call on this, but it has been stated that metal removal may void the warranty... IF the warranty is voided, I'd have to revise my quote lower into the $350-400 range, or possibly lower still since there is a fairly large risk of being denied coverage if one were to use this knife and damage it beyond repair.
