Thanks, y'all. Big families are a LOT of fun! Just glad I've gotten at least one boy out of the deal, so far.

As for the boys coming around....I'm ready, and the girls will be, too. ;)

Great knife, hilarious review, and a beautiful family you have there. You are truly blessed. Thanks for sharing all of them.

That's what I'm talking about. I only have one girl and the rest are boys but I have plenty of guns that I'll be cleaning on the porch when the boys start coming around. Maybe I'll be sharpening up a knife and test it on his arm . . . hair. :D

I have found that sitting calmly talking to the boys as I sharpen the edge on one of my hawks while I talk to them works pretty well. Once they ask about the hawk I explain what they were designed for and some of the different techniques for silencing enemy sentries with minimal effort and noise...then mention how I really hope I never have to use it on some creep who messes with one of my girls. Then after that a trip to the range really gets their attention. It messes with there heads when you can double tap two to the heart and consistently put 15 out of 15 in the head of a silhouette at 25 meters.

great posts/ replies....being a Dad of a 16 year old daughter I can totally relate...I just tell the young lad that happens to come into my home, "if you make my daughter cry I will make you cry".....to which my daughter always says, "DAD!, quit scaring my friends!"....I love it!
