A better wallet?

I am in need of help. I'm sick and tired of my credit cards getting broken in half from my leather wallet.

I've tried those stupid aluminum wallets and they just end up breaking around the clasp (plastic).

So I come to G&G for help finding a wallet that can handle 5 credit cards, my drivers license, a small stack of business cards (5), and roughly 3-5 paper thin cards (insurance etc.)

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Nick

I've got this one from Osgoode Marley and like it. It seems to fit the bill. I keep my DL in the window, my mil ID and debit card in the back pocket and then the rest of the stuff in the main pocket.

Google: "osgoode marley wallets 14512-gusset-card-case" and you should find it. If I lost mine, I'd replace it at full price, for what that's worth.

Gave up on leather wallets a few yrs ago in favor of the Storus credit card clip. Got mine from the NRA store but they're
available in other places. Cash & cards all in one place and nothing to wear out.

Spec-Ops makes a nearly indestructible wallet buts it's a little bulky and zips closed. I've carried one for about eight years and it's protected everything extremely well and will likely last me another eight. Lifetime warranty well.

I ditched my maxpedition wallet as it was oversized, and got a flowfold. So far it's an awesome wallet. I think you'll find it will work for you too.

I routinely carry what you mention in a Saddleback leather wallet. 4 pockets with each holding up to three credit cards. I carry stamps and some currency behind the credit card slots. The bifold currency compartment will hold ~30 bills comfortably (more then that and the wallet is hard to fold and a little miss shaped).

I like the rayskin wallets. The one I am curently carrying is actually a checkbook cover.

I've had a Spec-Ops T.H.E. Mini for a while. It's a nice wallet for a semi-minimalist, it does have an uber tactical/mall ninja appearance... ...but maybe that's just me. Well made in the USA.

I started carrying a credit card wallet when my wife got me one as an anniversary present. It was a Fossil and I immediately fell in love with the simplicity. An id slot to show my license, a single interior pocket to hold various cards/cash and a single interior card slot to keep my debit card from getting lost in the shuffle. One exterior card pocket to hold my insurance cards (auto and health) and that's it. Good leather construction. I am rough on wallets and will be retiring my second Fossil when the stingray wallet I just ordered gets here. I imagine stingray will be much more durable than leather and should last longer.

This is the one I'm waiting on:

+1 on the SPEC OPS, very well made and comes in three different sizes. I really like the velcro-less closure, no wear and tear so it'll hold much longer

It's hard to beat Saddleback. They use super thick, full grain boot leather and are guaranteed for 100 years . I've had mine for a couple months and it's still pretty rigid. The rigidity should keep your cards from breaking.

I pulled my vehicle registration out just to show the pockets in the wallet. I have 10 business cards , my DL, 1 bank card and usually a back up credit card, work ID, and my car registration in mine.

Cool, that's the kind of feedback im looking for.

Thanks everyone for the response, I'm going to make a decision soon and I will update everyone with my decision.
