A big 'ol 52100 Bowie

Sparkling clean Nick, as always.

It'll be great to see some of this work in Little Rock.

All you Wheeler fans better be there!

man do I wish I could :(

Beautiful Bowie, Nick. Very clean.

This is the first piece of spalted sycamore that I've seen. I knew that it wasn't maple from the rays in it but didn't recognize it as sycamore because of the way it spalted. I like it! (Until now I thought that maple was the only wood to have the black lines around the spalted area.)

Gary

In addition to the woods listed by Nick, I have harvested spalted poplar as well.

 Just AWSOME once again. That would be one heck of a pig sticker. Wouldn't be making that for a guy going pig hunting would you??

That's just crazy clean work........as usual. Beautiful wood.
Darcy:)

Nick, you are really knocking it out of the park here lately. Well you always have really...........but especially lately. :)

One thing I notice and truly appreciate in addition to the fantastic wood, clip, and finishes, is the rounded spine and ricasso. That is really something that adds a special look but also major function. The users out there will really appreciate the comfort of rounding those areas out. And it looks great too.

One of the few embellishments that's not just for looks. I am especially partial to that particular detail.

Awesome knife all the way around.

I agree 100%. Don't think I could have said it any better.
I sure hope this one, or a couple just like it are gonna be in Little Rock. Looking forward to seeing you, the mrs. and the knives :-)

Dang, thanks for the kind words guys. :o :)

You guys taking the time to check this out, and especially to comment--- is greatly appreciated. :)

But I sure hope I don't have this knife long enough to take it to Little Rock. :foot: ;)
