A Big Thank You to Rescue Riley!

I'm sure that you all remember the very generous holiday giveaway that Rescue Riley had. The good fellow was kind enough to send a carbon Mora blank my way, but it's taken until now for me to put a handle on it. Ironically, I wrapped a paper towel around the tang as a makeshift grip and used the blade blank to carve the handle! It's a piece of maple from the firewood pile with a foliage green gutted paracord half-wrap. Very comfy!

Thanks again, buddy! It's my go-to wood-carving knife now! :thumbup:

Thanks a bunch! The bandaid is the result of the #760-MG that I was inspired to pick up as a result of the blade you sent me! It was my first experience with a Mora, and it got me wanting more!

Judging by your finger, I guess you know those Moras are sharp

They sure are sharp! It's a small puncture on the tip of my finger. I was trying to cut through some fibers holding a split log together and had cut through most of them and when I went to pull it apart with my hands the tip caught me. It was so clean it welled up and started dripping reaaaaal fast and just wouldn't stop! I'm impressed!:thumbup:

It does indeed! It's there to prevent slipping while making hard long cuts.
