I love the forest in Tennessee, Mist! It calls to me. The Appalachians of Tennessee and Kentucky and the Ozarks of Missouri, Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma are special places. I settled for Texas Hill Country. We got in three nice hikes, but all in State Parks. As a result, there was minimal bush crafting. Temps were 5 to 10 degrees warmer here than there, but for Texas, it's winter!

Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoy them! In lived in Dallas for a few years, and visited Austin (which was beautiful comparatively speaking) back in the 70s. There were some cool spots, but I always missed the hills here, and every time I wander I always seem to wander my way back...

Ya know, I'm guessing it has something to do with my wrist, but I just love the feel of the Bushboot in hand in the edc role. It's classy, it's sexy, and if needs be, it has intent
