A bitter sweat but necessary reminder

Still loading after over 3 minutes, so stopped it.

Went back and it loaded after 5 minutes +/-. See post below with attachment.

Rusty,

It's a big file. It takes a long time to load, but it is worth it.

Bruce,

Just for the record. This is not my work. I just thought it was worth sharing with you.

They should have shown this on CSPAN yesterday, instead of all the protestors and speeches. Made me sick. I tuned in and out just to see what the enemy within was up to.

The Jezreel Valley from atop har Megiddo*.

( *Better known as the Plain of Armagedon - does that make it clear enough for you what your kind of scum really accomplished at the WTC? )

These anti-war protesters are a bunch of Idiots who need to get a life. If they don't like it then they can get the hell out of my country and live somewhere else.

I don't want to see another war, but something needs to be done for sure and sometimes it takes action, not words to solve it.

I finally saw this tonight, and it was a good reminder. I raised my blood pressure, but very well done collage of events. Thanks for posting that one.

This was driving me crazy - glad somebody punned it before I :footinmou

Thanks for the good link, it reminded me of the day it all happened. I remember that our idiot principle decided that we shouldn't be able to watch the TVs that are in every classroom. I was watching just after the first plane hit until after the 2nd hit and a tower collapsed. After that we weren't allowed to talk about it at all, needless to say my school is inhuman. We had to go on with the lesson plan like it was any other day.

I was in VA at the time...

Seemed like there were 2 camps of thought then:

1 - run like he**
2 - stay put and act as if nothing happened

Can't say I agree/disagree with either of them. Part of me says "don't act afraid". Another part says "If you're gonna go down, might as well be with your family, so go home".

Anyway, hopefully this kind of thing is in the past.

Difficult to watch.I'm from NY.Born in Brooklyn and raised on Staten Island.I grew up WITH the the TOWERS!Saw them across the Hudson Bay everyday when i went to school. :(

I grew up in Brooklyn. The family was going through some old home movies over the weekend, the old super-8mm stuff; and, there in the background are the World Trade Towers under construction. I use to commute through those things every day when I worked downtown. I was even a standing a couple of blocks away early on a Saturday morning in 85 when NYC got hit by a rare earthquake (about 4.5). I can still remember looking up the street and wondering what would happen if those towers came down....

I to lived in FLA,moved down to Tampa Bay in '91 and moved to PA in '99.Now I feel kinda guilty for leaving NY in it's dire need.:(

I wish you were right about things like this being behind us but, we have so many enemies in camp (so to speak) that I doubt that we are in the clear just yet.

It is a sad thing when so called americans walk the streets with signs of protest and are playing into the hands of the ones they are trying to protect. Sounds a bit like treason to me.

I know that I am not the only one who feels the way I do. Age coming on fast, more aches and pains than I thought I'd ever have, several spots just a bit infirm but, If need be and America called, I would have to pack my bag, a couple khuks and report for duty for whatever was needed.

I love her and God Bless America.

Well, whatever happens in the future, you can always count on the support of this little island. There should be around 30,000 British troops in Iraq soon.

We know what terrorism is like too, and there are still people on our streets campaigning against the war on Iraq. People forget history so quickly. We waited for Hitler to make the first move when he could have been stamped out without a World War and Hitler was nowhere near as close to making nukes as Suddam is today.

God bless us all!
