My oldies aren't too keen on my hobby/passion either Kev. But what I said to my ma once was, "yeah you're right ma, I should get another hobby. So what do you reckon: Heroin or Meth?". When I said that to her she very quickly back peddled. Then dad piped up, "at least he's buying quality knives Shannon. KA-BARS. Yep". I was very proud.

Will do that first thing when i get home, right after i get my insurance

That's my aim. Get him started early. He's got a lot to collect and I will have to get one of every type he does. You know, for quality control purposes

Yeps I'll defs be letting him know. Basically if he's on private property and has permission to be there he's ok.
