Is there by chance, a book available on Schrade knives? I'm looking for something with lots of photos of the various models. I'm particularly interested in the fixed blade Schrades. If not a book, how about a website? Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks. MadTrapper

There is not yet a definitive book. You are posting on THE website. Here resides more information and photos ( and cumulative knowledge) of Schrade knives than anywhere else on the web, IMHO.

Larry, Phil, or one of the others can explain to you how to use the search function (upper right) or the archive (lower right).

Currently, printed matter is dispersed between several author's volumes. Some of the regulars can post titles and links for those as well. They all know I recommend Robert Clemente's book on Old Timers and Uncle Henrys.

Madtrapper, I hope your interest in books about Schrade leads you to become a regular here. Any photos of particular models you need?

Welcome!

I am a soothsayer and I say...... FORSOOTH!!! he wants....um....uh....one of each sharpfinger variant ever made. He wants......um....uh....several frames full of the 152OT, 512OT, 152UH, ltd. editions, 502SC, SC205, 155SC, and one of every Ducks Unlimited, Guns & Ammo, Hunting, Master Mechanic, and anniversary issue. Ah! And the siblings, 154,158!! AND!!! he wants pictures of his quarry, whether on the web or in a publication. AND!!! ....he would like...um.... US to help him find them! Whew! I'm exhausted now. Where is my tequilla? I know I have a bottle hidden from me somewhere.... Matt, what did I do with it?

Edit - I forgot to say...he would also like our help in avoiding copies from the other side of the Pacific.

Ya! Exactly what the Codger said! Very much appreciated. Tryin' to get a feel for what's out there and what they made in these models. I've always been a fan of Schrade, figured it's time I start doing it right and collecting them. I appreciate all the information and expertise available on this forum. Thanks much and a Happy New Year to all from the MadTrapper
