Howdy Friends,

Some of you requested that I upload an image or two of my recently snatched Camillus Jumbos ... so here ya go! I LOVE these two!

Cool! Never seen them before!! How long are they, TwoDog??

waynorth: They are four and a half closed and the largest blade is three inches ... so seven and a half wide open. I can't find much information on this model but it appears to be a pre-1946 model. Which is to say ... that I only have a Camillus catalog (in PDF) as old as that. The tang stamp falls into that 1941-46 window. Of the lot of knives I came into last week, these generated the most interest and curiosity. I wish I could find out more! Amazing to me ... for something that seems now to be so unusual and rare ... I'm stunned that there were two of them in the same place!

Thanks for chiming in. I'm mighty proud of them.

Nate ... GAH! No, of course not. I paid $25 for the yellow jumbo and the other was in that huge lot of 35 remaining knives I bought for $175. Hopefully, by the time I find homes for a few of those babies I'll be able to say I paid nothing for these two! The quarters, of course, are for scale.

I love the look of the Yellow or should I say the aged yellow look of the top knife, 2dog is this Bone?, or a composite? I think I can see a slight grain..but cant quite tell?
