I got into more serious collecting about 5 years ago mostly buying fixed blades at first then transitioning to more and more folders (now almost exclusively folders). Never would have spent over $80 for a folder when I started but a year later i broke and bought my first benchmade (an orange triage) and have had the addiction ever since. Still don't really know is if buying all these $100-$300 folders is justified but I still keep doing it. There are just to many sweet knives. Lately I've Sold off/given away a lot of knives to try and keep my collection not too absurd. Any body have similar experience?

I'd suggest visiting the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades subforum here.

Or, if you click the little triangle with the ! in the lower left of your post, you can "report" this threead and ask the mods to move it there for you.

Wait. You made a thread asking about Traditionals and you knew Case, but were looking for other brands etc, and you just ediited it to change the subject entirely.
