A brief overview of the Northwoods Presidential. This one's for you Jim.

I hope this batch comes out a little nicer than the last. I was disappointed in the IRJ I received. I don't have much need for S35VN but I'm sure I'll get one anyhow.

Awwwwwh yeah, it is out for delivery. I can't wait to get home.

NKD is the best D. This thread could use some more pics, why don't you let us see that new pres when you get home!

By the way, nice username. Did you hear they're coming out with a new album?

I'm loving it. I will say the mirror polish leaves a little to be desired. It's not that hard to spot the sanding streaks, but all in all I like it.
And as for the album, well I picked that up about a day or so after it came out. People thought I was crazy, but I knew they would come through witb it(it only took them 8 years). But hey, his record company isn't called Glacior Pace for nothing.

Thanks, I just love ebony and nickle silver. They go so great with each other. Now I've gotta start cutting up everything in sight. Now all it needs is a good patina.

The Presidential is a great knife! I don't think there are many left, but it is a heck of a lot of knife in a slim package.

I didn't realize it until a week or so ago, but the Presidential uses GEC's #53 frame. It is the same thickness as the TK Cuban. The differences are that the Presidential is flat with chamfered edges while the 53 is rounded. The 53 doesn't have the blade rub issues of the Presidential because of the distal taper of its clip blade. The blade rub doesn't bother me.... I'm too mesmerized by the blue camel bone!
