A Buck for Veterans?

The bottom one I had done by a girl at work.

I would be in also, carried a 112 for 20 w/ USCG. 110 with initials carved by Master Chief doesn't leave the house!

Was so lucky someone took a picture and the highlight other than the great guys on my crew in the picture but that my Buck is in the picture :D

About 1980 RAF Little Rissington. And yes i still have it.:)

Sorry im not trying to go off topic. Was just emphasizing that Military and Buck go hand in hand. A commemorative knife? Why not!
And i got no idea how i got away with the high hair and elvis side burns lol

very cool that ya still got the knife. lot of history there.

Deadwood Knives has every branch of service in 110's blade etch and corelon handle. I got one for my nephew who is a lifer in the Navy and has an aircraft carrier carved into the handle. They don't break the bank.

I know somewhere on Wally's website scrolling through the many pages of Bucks and there are 110's representing every branch. Seemed they were kinda pricy for my taste.

What do you think a reasonable price should be for a 110 that has been etched on both sides in wood and blade. $90 for my nephew whom I will most likely never see again. In the branch of service that is his life, he sent me a thank you letter and thanked me so many times was worth every penny.

Oh i certainly think they are worth it. They are very special. I probably wouldn’t buy one for me but i think it would be a very special gift for someone serving for sure.:thumbsup:
Both my sons chose not to serve breaking the string of those that served in my family going back to the American Revolution.

Of course it's worth it for an extra special family member, serving our nation and having a special piece of "home" with them now and always!!
I meant, a little expensive for an old timer like me right now....

The new 112 Ranger Slim Pro would be a perfect knife for this occasion. Slim, light, and strong, with good steel.
