I need to sell a few things quick to raise funds for a new piece of equipment so here is perhaps the best deal in Bladeforums listed right now!
Available is this Alan Warren “Skinner” s/n O70. If you are familiar with his work, you will know he is one of the finest custom makers out there. The blade is done in ATS-34 @ HRC 60-61. It comes in at 8 1/2” OAL, 4” blade, and .190” at ricasso. Perfectly symmetrical hollow grind. The guard is 416SS (silver soldered with no pin holes) and pommel is aircraft aluminum. The spine is tastefully filed with seven inlaid pins down the center. The handle is African Blackwood with fossilized mammoth ivory accents. The sturdy sheath is just as gorgeous as the knife and holds firmly with a slight cam style “click” when inserted. This knife has NEVER been used or carried. In a personal letter from Alan a few years ago, he valued this piece at $775+. I hate to see it go, but I need the cash. No trades. $550
