Been a while since we made a big knife but here is a camper/chopper made from 3/16" thick 1084..Its 12" long overall with a 7" blade. Temp controlled heat treat..We tempered this to about 57-58 instead of the usual 59-60 so the edge could take more abuse..The blade has a deep etched patina. the handles are Black/Green G-10..It has three Flared stainless tubes for pins..
The sheath is Coyote tan Kydex. The heavy .093 grade. It is reversable for right or left hand carry. Phillip changed out the flat head aluminum screws that came with the binder posts to better quaility allen head screws that were longer. There are rubber washers between the screw head and binder post for a tighter fit..It locks in nicely..
