The handle on this one is from some wood that has been in my shop for over 10 years and I have no idea what it is or where I got it. The curl was wrapped around a knot which gives the handle a curved figure. It is a very hard wood and I wish I had a bunch more.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Hand sanded to 400 grit with some forge marks
Mystery wood handle
Overall length: 10 3/8 inches
Blade: 6 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

Very Nice Mr. Drew, one of these days i will have to get 1 of these, they look like very good hard working knives..:thumbup:
