A Canadian Review Of a Canadian knife.

Hmmm... Grohmann probably couldn't offer a competetive price to the government due to the onus of government mandates and taxes, so they lose their contract to the Chinese who aren't burdened with such niceties. There's some irony there.

apparently the difference was in the order of $2-$3 per blade, it is supposedly a knock-off of the model Grohmann supplied for years to the government, so similar to the original Grohmann design that they have had people calling the Grohmann office with customer service issues/complaints on "their" Chinese made knife.

The company that won the contract is a real class act...apparently this import company from Ontario that won the contract, Gear Up Motors,
was ordered by the Government of Canada to cease and desist from using the emblems of the Canadian Armed Forces on their website after the owner of the site/company was accused of uttering racist and sexist remarks. I can only hope that Gear Up Motors will screw up again and lose the contract...
