A case of case's WINNER DB COOPER CONGRATS

Very kind GAW and interesting idea to hide it. Not an entry but wanted to say thank you. The case of Cases looks awesome.
Mike

What a find!! That's a heck of a start to a Case collection.
As I also like Case knives, I'm in for the GAW. Thanks for your generosity.

Oh man. I hope this isn't the little place on the corner of Riverside and Old Leicester Hwy. I had made it up there to look at his displays and had seen several early days GEC also. Count me in for this one, and hey neighbor.

I'm in! Thanks for the chance.

I'm pretty new to the world of traditional knives. I was always curious about that multi-bladed knife my grandpa carried around and used for everything. So, a few years ago, I went ahead and bought this case sowbelly. It was my first traditional that got me hooked :D

Count me in as I just sent a couple of SAK's over the water to Austraia ( took like a month for them to get there.!! ) as he lost his SAK somehow and I sent him a care pkg. with 2 Sak's & 3 old Silver Nickels and a few other Toy's to play with.!
You got a real deal on those Case Knives and shoot I would give you a $150 just for the Display Case..!!!! You sure spent your money on a good deal there.!*****
Thanks for the chance.

No this guy was in Hendersonville, I believe you are thinking about Gossett's they have a little bit of everything.

I ran into this guy that owned a brick and mortar knife store and unfortunately went out of business. I met with him yesterday and bought some things from him including this display case with 7 new Case knives in it and also received the knife boxes as well. I usually stay away from limited additions, collector series and such but this one just caught my eye and I thought the price was fair. The handles on these knives are Corelon and I have no experience with it at all. I have read about the Case Frost connection but would like to no how durable and desirable it is. Also you will see a picture of a new SAK I bought from him. This is for a giveaway to say thank you for the info, patience, respect and kindness I have found here on the porch. Not only to me but toward many others. This Traditional Forum is made up of some truly exceptional folks. I hid this GAW in this post to give a better chance to those that hang out here and not someone just looking for a freebie. The rules are simple Must have at least 25 post her in the Traditional Forum Simply post I'm in and something about Case Knives it can be as simple as I like or dislike them. Good luck I will post a winner selected by a random number generator Fri. Oct. 2 at noon EST. And thanks again for allowing me to hang out here.

THIS GAW IS FOR THE SAK ONLY!!!! SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION.

Well had to bring the Chestnut collection pictures to this page!
My first Case was the Sway Back Jack in Chestnut and then a swayback Gent...and so my forum name. Congrats on an excellent find.
I think that case can certainly fit a few more. Come Christmas-time that song about chestnuts will be repeated in your head and a big smile will be on your face, even bigger than now!!!

Not in the GAW but very generous . I have a few SAK's already.

I'm in! I only own three Case knives so far, but I really like them. I have a Sodbuster Jr, and a 6318 Medium Stockman in yellow Delrin, and a 63032 stockman in beautiful Chestnut bone, which looks quite a bit like your Corelon collection. My mom grew up in Bradford, PA, where Cases are made, so I guess I have a soft spot for them because of that as well. It is cool that there are still a few old knife manufacturers left in the USA. Here is a shot of my chestnut stockman and a couple of butter knives I carved with it:

That WAS a very good score - especially with the display cabinet - almost the deal of the Century to be honest.

Not an entry - but a thank you for your support to this great community we have.

Very nice set! Definitely the chestnut jiggled bone. I picked up a few corelon peanuts on a lark and those aren't corelon. Corelon looks more like multi- coloured swirled plastic.

Not in as I have no idea if I ever posted more than 25 in the traditionals thread; too busy looking and drooling at all the great pics. :)

I like what you did here, neat idea, cool gaw!
Not an entry, as I have more victorinox than any others.
Nice find on the case knives, also

I'm in! I've been discovering the joy of traditional knives lately, especially after getting a vintage Case knife that belonged to my grandfather. Now I'm look at picking up some more. A certain vendor here has a number of Ford logo Case knives that I want to collect since that is my last name.

There were 16 posters that stated I'm In and the random generator pick #9. Congratulations to DB COOPER YOU WIN !! You can email your shipping info to reddenmusic@yahoo.com I will also send you a visitor message. Thanks to all.
