A Change

Gotta love Coach Knight. My boys are only 6 & 2, but I would send them to be coached by Bobby any day. Discipline and fundamentals are what is missing in today's game of showmanship. Whatever happened to running a play, setting a pick, boxing out, etc? From his days at West Point to Indiana and now at Texas Tech- I have always been a fan of someone who demands the best of his Team.
I am with you Thomas.

Welcome back Basspro! Where have you been?

...And what has he to do with Kershaw knives?..

and what has he to do with Kershaw knives? dont you know glockman, that Coach Knight is Thomas's god and that it is really Coach Knight that runs Kershaw? LOL

im not that big a basketball fan, but I have payed some attention to the Coach over the years and what he's done. Have to agree with ya basspro. he is hard nosed and a great motivator. he gets the job done and doesnt care what others think. its what makes his style so good.

So Thomas, I live in Bloomington, IN and actually worked in Bobby Knights old house last year. Yep, I walked on the sacred ground.

For more interesting info I do not know if you have ever seen the IU basketball calendars that are done around here every year, they are one page and have all the players and coach portraits on them with a central spot for an ad for whoever paid for the calendar. My wifes grandfather and uncle has made those every year forever now, and they are the only ones who can make them. My wife used to have a ton that were all signed by the team and Bobby, and signed basketballs and such. Mid-America Publishing was her grandfather and uncles company. My wife no longer has any of the stuff, but her uncle still does it, and still has tons of stuff from the IU Bobby days.

They used to have court side seats to all the IU games so you could listen real good to Bobby I hear, not the you had to sit very close!@
