If you are looking for a knife to pry apart a pallet or dig a fox hole, this is not the knife for you. I forged this one to a fine edge that is shaving sharp so it will do some serious slicing plus split some firewood, chop a tree or cut briers away from your camp.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Machine finish with a light etch
I edge quenched this one but you need to be in the sunlight to see the quench line. It is about half way up the blade.
Black Micarta handle
Tapered tang
Overall length:14 1/2 inches
Blade: 9 1/2 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

$200 delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com A check with time to clear or USPS money order OK too.

Oops, I see some oil on the scabbard that did not soak in before I took the photo, it is gone now.

I would have definitly have taken this one, nice work. I will say I noticed the duct tape finger. It made me laugh because I thought my dad was the only one that did that. He will not use bandaids and walks around with duct tape or electrical tape wrapped fingers all the time.

My son is a doctor (almost) and says that duct tape is as sterile as a band aid and if it weren't for the image they would use it more in the medical field. After all they use super glue to close wounds. :D

I was in plant maintenance so I believe that Black Electricians Tape make a much better bandaide .
