Seasons greeting everyone! My wife got me a gift to be remembered! It is a HI 20" Sirupati! Nice blade, and has alot of energy in it. Good energy at that.

I tested it out this morning on some 5" tatami rolls, and it cut through without any problems. Now, I have a variety of HI Sirupati to keep each other company. The 15" for my new son, the 20" for general carry, and the 25" for those special occasions (Y2K??

). I'll post more info when I get a chance to cut more targets. Take care everyone. Man, these Khukuris are addicting

Love that 20" sirupati. These are awesome khukuri's. Even the 12"er is dynamite as far as I am concerned.

The 20" sirupati's are excellant. Even the very light 12"er is a very good khukuri. And lets not forget that a 12" knife is not small.

Speaking of khuks as Christmas gifts, I think I may have done something terribly wrong even though I meant well -- I gave my son a WWII for Christmas. Only too late did I stop to think that he will likely contract HIKV -- and being a newlywed, he'll play hell trying to cope with a new wife as well as the khuk kurse!
 
Apparently, my wife was in contact with Bill about "special" HI for my Christmas present. As nothing would arrive on time, she gave up. Good thing! I don't think she's aware that I have a Millenium and Kumar Kobra coming...
