A classic read for a really good survival yarn

The 'best' one I have ever read was 'Adrift' by Steven Callahan. The sub-title is 76 Days Lost at Sea, so you get the idea. Amazing story, extremely well written. I also really enjoyed 'Between a Rock and a Hard Place' by Aron Ralston. 'Alive' by Piers Paul Read about the Uruguayan rugby team Andes crash is another inspirational, mind-boggling story.

Or this one. Which tell the actual true backstory that inspired the Moby Dick novel. They plan to release a new movie in 2015.

I started reading this book a few days ago and I'm liking it a lot!!
Another wonderful book I'd strongly suggest is: "Uttermost Part of the Earth" Lucas Bridges.
The Bridges family story is beyond survival, it's an epic story about adventure, nature, anthropology, history, religion, society in the most remote part of the world, GREAT!
