I was comparing some knives this evening and realized that the Koyote pass-around and my Swamprat Bandicoot are both the same length !

With the Koyote you can clearly see that it has both more useable blade length ( due to choil on the Rat ) and also more useable handle due to the design !

I think if the Koyote handle was 1/2" longer it would make the knife close to perfect !!!!

When I was having fun with the passaround knife, I found myself making regular use of the portion of the blade nearest the handle (for example, when carving fuzz sticks or cutting notches). While I am no choil-hater, I think the Koyote bushcrafter really shows the benefit of a full-length cutting edge.

Now, as a matter of preference, I would love to see a pairing of the Koyote blade and a handle profile a bit more like a thicker version of that Bandicoot. That would rock.

I like the Koyote better also (from looking at your pics) The koyote looks like a real all-around user :thumbup:
