Hey evrybody. I have a Tenacious and like it a lot (as well as various other Spydies), but would like something a bit lighter for EDC, and am thinking of either a Native 1 or Native 3, since I don't have a Native yet. Is there a possibility that someone could post a pic of those three next to each other? Also, I know most people here tend to carry PE, but I've come to really like SE, and both Natives seem to have a good length of PE at the tip, which is great. Which of the two steels (S30V and VG10) would make for a better SE blade? Also, which do you prefer (Native 1 or 3)?

i just got a native with frn and s30v from wally world on mega clearence for $20, and i couldnt be happier.

I would go for the version made in Golden CO, FRN and S30V. For a small edc that cuts like a bigger knife with great ergonomics that still rides flat in your pocket I don't think the Native can be beat. I've gone though a lot of pocket knives but the Native is my favorite. Get one you won't regret it.

you could get the Native one, or Wait for the FRN golden co. Native 4 to come out. Of course that might be in a year or so.

I wish that I could find a Wal-Mart with Natives left. Unfortunately, where I am (Charlotte, NC), I was never even able to find one that carried the Native when it was actively stocked.

Sorry...forgot to add this...I've been thinking about the Native 1 black blade serrated, but not permanently attached by any means...

I've also thought about the Centofante 4...I know...a pretty different knife. Which feels more sturdy when doing a little bit more aggressive cutting? That's a big thing for me.

ive been edcing my native for the past few days, and i can say that i love it! great blade shape, and its comfy as hell to use.

I have found the tenacious to be more heavy duty, and the s30v native to be a more light-medium duty knife but with great edge retention.
