A couple Black Friday flashlight purchases.

Same here, my Fenix showed up yesterday. Has a very wide spread compared to something like a tk12. Should be a great outdoors/ camping light.

Mine should have been here last week, but seems to be misplaced by usps.

Don't you hate it when that happens. It's happened to me about three times this year with USPS and currently going on with one UPS package.

Nice :)
I bought my first Fenix recently, a PD35, one heck of a nice light :)

I've got a PD35 too, nice light when it works.. I have a couple of Surefires from back in the day, non LED ones. They went through batteries quick but they ALWAYS worked, the Fenixs I have are all LED, they are very bright, but they don't always turn on. When they don't turn on I tap them on something metal and eventually they turn on but I can't say they are the most reliable of lights..

Maybe contact Fenix CS? Never had an issue with mine.

It's been the same on all 3 fenixs I own. I cleaned all my contacts with WD40 on my PD35 and it hasn't acted up since so maybe that's what it was but I only cleaned it a couple of days ago. One of the things I love about them is that batteries last forever in the LED ones..

No, I usually carry a PD32, I forgot what the other 2 models are..

I grabbed a few or the Nextorch 18650 programmable rechargeable lights @ $20 each. Has anybody tried them?

If they work like they are supposed to I'll give them away. If they are pretty quirky I'll use them for work lights.

I think they are still on sale until midnight. For $20 I figured I couldn't go wrong. One of them will be for my 4yo because I can program the lumens down to 10 or 20, and I can recharge it after she forgets to turn it off.

Nitecore rechargeable batteries are the best out there. I use 3-4 CRC123A batteries daily, and they have the best thermal protection available. I also use the 18650's again the best rechargeable batteries.
