I have two fire steels with hand made handles for sale here. The rods are 3/8" diameter by 3 3/8" length. The overall lengths are about 5 3/8". The handles have brass lined lanyard holes, and glow in the dark dots on the ends. The glow dots are glow in the dark powder mixed with epoxy and used to fill a holes in the handles, so it's not just paint that could scratch off. Also, the handles are finished with a couple coats of clear lacquer. The lanyards are included, too. I'd like $40 each shipped CONUSA, and if you choose to use Paypal, I'll handle the fee. Here are some pictures, and thanks for looking!
The first one is cocobolo with lacewood and beech veneers. Also, there is a brass tube running the length of the wood where the fire steel is not. That means the wood is reinforced with a brass tube so the wood joints won't weaken the handle. Also, the hole that the glow dot is in is lined with a brass tube.
The second one is purpleheart with lacewood and beech veneers. This one is constructed the same as mentioned above for the cocobolo one.
Thanks for looking!
