Here's a pic of a couple I just finished, with your constant e-help.
Both blades are nicholson files. Top one has mesquite handles from a stump at my in-laws, with a superglue finish. Has hourglass filework along the spine. Some pitting on the blade from the forge that I couldn't get rid of without thinning the blade too much.
Second one is a file, brass guard, antler spacer, and antler handle. The spacer is from a shed found by a friend. The main handle is from an 8 point white tail that my dad killed in 1989 in Burnet, TX. I was 12 at the time, and was sitting with him in the stand. I can still see the rack skylighted against the sunrise. These are number 6 and 7, and definite progress from the first few.
