• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I finished these up yesterday. I profiled the blades out of 3/32" 1095 and sent them to David "The Man" Farmer for grinding and heat treating.

Both have a 3/16" brass pin and 1/4" lanyard tube. The drop point has redwood burl scales and the one I call a "mini santoku" has purpleheart scales.

You got that right. While making the drop point I managed to cut my thumb through the nail and out to the tip. I bled like a stuck pig, but thanks to superglue It's better after a week and a half.

Bottom knife looks like it has Ipe scales.

I could have used ipe. The ipe I have is waaaaaay more red than this, almost too red. As far as red woods go I'd rather do bloodwood or purpleheart. Ipe is too hard to work for an impatient guy like me.

This one is ipe.

Wow I love those little blades. Especially the one with red-er handle. You make some nice knives.

Great work B. I really like your stuff!
