Hey guys, I just finished up these two small axes and I thought I would share. This is my Valkyrie tomahawk design minus the spike. For the prototype I wanted to something different, so I gave it osage scales and did some Norse inspired burning on it. I think it came out pretty cool.
The second one has natural canvas micarta scales. The steel is 1/4" 4140 that I deferentially tempered. These should make a really nice woods hawk.

Let me know what you think.

Drawn back tang.

enjoyed seeing these come together on the ether.
especially dig the osage version. Looks scrimshawish

Thanks fellas!!

Played with doing fullers on this handle. It actually offers really nice grip points.
