Hi all! Here are a couple of my recent knives-the larger-bellied knives are my Modoc model and the skinner ones a bird &trout. All of these blades are from differentially heat treated 15n20 steel. The handles on these ones are olivewood, walnut, figured maple, and bone micarta. All of them have blue G10 liners and are held together by carbon fiber pins.
Comments and Questions welcome- constructive criticism helps me learn!
Thank You!

Looking good Nic.! The Modoc huh? You live on the Oregon side or the Cali side? I used to live in Tulelake, CA.
Small world eh?

Wow, small world for sure! I'm on the California side- I'm near Redding. Tulelake is beautiful!

sexy hamons!

constructive criticism: round the steel a bit where the indexfinger can touch the drop part of the drop edge
No sharp edges there

Thank you! Could you please explain more? I don't think I'm quite understanding what your saying

This is what I mean
When using a knife your index finger can touch the steel where I marked orange.
It is a little effort to round the steel there with a needle file but makes a big difference IMHO.
Especialy where I marked yellow, I like that corner rounded as well.
To me details like that give *that extra* to a hand made knife over any other knive.

I think you can see it on this knife
