1 -- 18 inch 29 ounce perfectly done Reti (made from file) khukuri by Kumar. Nice horn handle and very nice rig. Take this somewhat unusual and very good khukuri home today for $95.00

2 -- 18 inch 27 ounce WWII model with Chiruwa horn slabbed handle made by the best kami in Nepal. Here's what I consider to be our best all round khukuri with a Chiruwa handle for those who worry about handle failures made by the best kami in Nepal, Bura, and it's yours today for $95.00. UBBB

3 -- 15 inche 24 ounce Ang Khola made by Sher with all the usual Sher features. Hairline crack in horn handle put this into the blem box. Delivered to your door today for half price @ $62.50

4 -- Nice sized 22 inch 20 ounce Kobra by Sher. A small ding in wood handle put it into the blem category. Take this winner home today for $75.00

Stay tuned. The year's not over yet.

I bought one of those engraved ones from a private seller, otherwise I'd be all over that WWII... I still might get the WWII too...

Good for you Bex, in addition to a great khuk you'll get the knowledge you saved me from temptation and budgetary crisis!
Hmm now that Reti looks neat too...

Heh heh heh. You are most welcome.

If its any consolation to anyone, I'll be back at work next Monday and so the deals of the day will be safe from me at least...

Temptation and budgetary crisis...tell me about it. HIKV may lie dormant for some time, but as soon as you come back to the Cantina, the fever and shakes set in again...

I've a couple of Moki folders to order from Japan and that WILL be my knife buying done for the next 12 months!

BTW, I also just called Yangdu and asked her to throw in a Kagas Katne...so I've got those sweet midgets covered as well!

:D

A Kumareti !

:D

Heavy reti.
Must be a whole different creature
than the Bureti.

cant beleive the reti is still there !!

I'm still waiting for my ube and ak to arrive - can wait for Jill to find out though (She's gonna string me up) !!

:)

22" at 20 oz. is what caught my attention...and by Sher, I'm betting that the balance point is even more to toward the grip.

It should be a lean, mean pickle-snatching machine!

:D

I think an image on that one would have moved it alreti ;)

Buying a non-standard shape unseen required more knowledge than I had available...

Retis are neat. My Bureti is the under-the-bed guardian.:)

I'm sure Kumar's will be making someone very happy very soon.

For what it's worth, this is what a 16" 11oz reti by Bura looks like:

What's the Kumareti look like?

At 29oz it must be either a hog of a sirupati,
or maybe he got it more like a lighter AK?

Uncle Bill, is the Reti still open for grabs? If so, I'd take it, and thank you. Dan
