A couple of drawings what do you guys think?

I would round the "point" down into the top (you know, to make the transition less abrupt and give a wee bit more strength behind the "point" for chopping...look up the Firestone Belt Axe...like that but a wee bit longer). You could keep that top edge, too (and it looks like it adds a bit of width to the spike). I like that. But yeah, that's gettin' there (for this guy, at least ;))!

That last Green one is on point! As I read this thread, every time ScottRoush posted I was like "I was going to say that!" For the record I like the teeth you had on it. I mean as an aesthetic element they really make your design stand out. Plus ,they sure would make an uglier wound.

I am liking the last green one the most as well in terms of functionality. Could maybe gently S sweep the handle for the initial aesthetics you were shooting for while still retaining your current grip location on the straight handle. I am the wrong guy to answer the practicality of that or issues it could cause but would bring a little sexy back to the handle without sweeping the hand forward.

Thanks man,
Iv got to stop drawing these things i havent started working on the first batch of blanks I had cut and im already trying to figure out what the next batch should be.
Its a sickness...

I draw the odd one too, if I had the means I would have dozens of cool little full tang axes laying around.

Here ya go lol god I love AutoCad

gimmegimmegimme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there ya go.. nice flowing lines.. edge orientation right where it needs to be and you could sure hook something by holding it at the end of the handle. I thought the bardiche thing looked cool too.. but maybe not durable. I prefer it without the serrated grooves myself. Clean and simple....

Thanks guys i appreciate all the input i think once i get around to finishing (and by finishing i mean starting) the pile of blanks iv already got going, ill order some material and get one or 2 of these things cut out.
