I just finished up this knife yesterday and I'd like to give it a new home. My first dumb question what do you think a reasonable asking price would be this knife? The specs are listed below. My second is, what style would it is? To me, it seems like a small fighter or maybe a hunter. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for your input.
Joe

great looking knife, love the handle, I would call it a clip point hunter or a drop point hunter, I think for it to be a fighter it would need for the bolster to extend above and below the blade

Asking price is always a touchy subject. You need to take a look at the for sale area and compare. See what others are getting for the same quality and decide what you need to get out of it. As to what it is, well it has kind of a drastic drop but not quite a spear point. I would call it a large hunter and not even reference the point. Like John mentioned for a fighter the guard might be larger though I have seen guardless fighters as well. But the point really says hunter to me. Not quite pointy enough for me to call it a fighter.

Thanks for the clarification on the fighter difference. It makes sense that the guard should go above and below the blade.

List it as "154cm and buckeye burl" and let the buyer decide how to use it:cool:
Check out whats listed and compare prices, don't forget to at least estimate what you have in it in both time and material.
If you're not in a hurry to sell, watch the for sale section for a few days to see some different prices.
